PSA Nitrogen Generator

Introduction to the Products :
PSA nitrogen generator uses compressed air as raw material, carbon molecular sieve as sorbent to produce nitrogen by making use of the PSA principle. Under certain pressure, carbon molecular sieve has different oxygen/nitrogen adsorption capacity, as a result, the nitrogen and oxygen can be separated to obtain the desired purity as per the customers’ requirements.

Products in Use:

1.Metallurgy, Machinery, Electronics Industry：

Dry quenching with nitrogen is one of the major energy-saving measures for the iron and steel plants. The quenching of every ton of coke demands the cycle of about 1500M3 nitrogen and every 25 tons of coke quenching will generate about 2000-3000KW of electricity per hour.

2.Chemical and Petrochemical Industry:

Nitrogen is the main raw material for fertilizer industry and nitrogen is the material gas for the synthesis of nitrogen and urea. The production of one ton of lime nitrogen fertilizer consumes 600M3 nitrogen. In the chemical plants, Nitrogen is mainly used as protection gas, replacement gas, and gas scrubber to protect the safety in production. Such as the production of polypropylene, transmission is done with pure nitrogen. And the synthesis of fiber drawing needs nitrogen to anti-oxidation.

Forestry chemical plants use nitrogen as protection gas in the process of producing min plastic coatings, rosin, resin; Nitrogen is the protection gas in chemical plants. Nitrogen is also used in the transferring and cleaning of oil storage tanks, containers and pipes, the scheduling oxygen purification of tankers, offshore platform and pipelines, and the protection of rubber packaging and tire manufacturing.

3.Medicine, Food industry:

Nitrogen is used as pharmaceutical raw materials and in the packaging and transport of medicines. Nitrogen tank storage of fruits, vegetables, rice, tea, nuts, seeds, herbs, can maintain their original color, flavor and taste. This kind of storage is obviously superior to mechanical refrigeration.

4.Other Industries:

Nitrogen food packaging; Metal parts rust-proof technology with nitrogen sealed;Nitrogen protection during the production of Float Glass.

Characteristics of PSA generator:

1. Machine Unit is simple, moving equipments are only air moving equipment, compressors, chillers.

2. Requirements for the molecular sieve are relatively low. Less molecular sieves are needed for the same oxygen production equipment.

3. Equipments are small in size, so the cost is relatively low.

4. The requirement of automation of the whole equipment is relatively low. Air compressor, freeze-drying machine or condenser and the oxygen generator can control start and stop separately, and the control can also be linked.
